An automatic transmission that adapts to your wishes: with the driving mode, you also change the characteristics of the dual-clutch transmission. It uses the 8 gears selectively for efficient driving at low engine speeds or for impressive dynamic handling. Because the next gear is always already preselected, you can accelerate seamlessly.
With the 48-volt system, a second on-board electrical system is set up in the GLA. The 48-volt battery increases the overall battery capacity. This means more electrical energy for innovative functions when stationary, such as climate control. More performance, more flexibility, more efficiency.
